Created in 1986, the Aurillac International Street Theater Festival has continued to establish itself as one of the main live performance events in France.For its 2024 edition, the city welcomes 18 official companies including Ambiguous Dance Company, Begat Theater, Collectif La Méandre, Hoods Flakes, Le G. Bistaki, Liquid Sound, Mariano Pensotti-Grupo Marea, Notre Insouciance… and nearly 700 visiting companies which make the Aurillac Festival an exceptional event of creation, research and artistic dissemination.During these 4 days, Aurillac opens all its streets, squares and squares to some 139,000 spectators, in order to offer a lively and internationally open program.A great artistic and cultural event!Since 2020, ÉCLAT, in collaboration with municipalities in the department, has also offered you the opportunity to discover CHAMP LIBRE, a tour of shows across Cantal. From July 20 to August 4, 2024, more than 25 municipalities have made the committed and enthusiastic choice to defend culture in their territory and to welcome artists and the public with conviction.
